Bring Your Market Questions to Guangzhou
Start With the Customers Behind Your Catalog
What fence the warehouse contractor wants to buy is often different from what the school, sports field or security company is looking for. A distributor’s useful product range consists of different applications, various specifications which he keeps in stock and single projects for which he quotes individually for the customer. BENDIN would like to make these decisions with you at the 140th Canton Fair, Phase 2.
BENDIN produces metal fencing and barrier systems in Anping, China. Welded mesh, chain link, 358 security fencing, steel tubular fencing, gates, temporary fencing and edge protection are offered to customers from more than 70 countries worldwide. BENDIN also serves customized products and supports its buyers with production, export and after sales service. If you are selling into several different industries, the fair offers the chance to discuss how all of your products could be offered in one coherent product range to your customers.

Find Us During Phase 2
The 140th Canton Fair Phase 2 will take place at China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, China from October 23 to 27, 2026. BENDIN looks forward to seeing you at booth 8.0F12. You may like to come with questions that you usually get from your local customers such as preferred stack height, security level, finish, color, quantity and any new applications that our current range does not cover.
Match Fence Types to the Buyers You Serve
Separate Regular Stock From Project-Specific Orders
For residential contractors and light industrial customers, a distributor may look to stock a few simple repeatable mesh panel configurations. Suppliers to the utilities and restricted facilities may get fewer inquiries but need a specific security solution. There’s little value in holding all the different versions of products when in reality only a few will move regularly.
When at the booth ask BENDIN which of your products are ordered by your customers on a monthly basis and which are only ordered for specific projects. Most of the first group will have a fixed list of sizes and colors whereas the second group is better as made-to-order. By discussing this early on you can avoid misleading your customers by presenting a custom design as if it was a “off-the-shelf” product and you can avoid keeping non-moves just because they look good in your catalog.
Compare What Buyers Actually Ask to See
Many local sales conversations start with the way a product looks and then go on to discuss the practical points needed. Some customers want a view across a boundary and others want a more formal front to their property or need to control access. Bring a few of your real sales leads, even if they were not sold. These can highlight where you are missing a product family or finish and also highlight areas where you need to provide more technical information to customers.
Build a Product Range With Distinct Roles
Welded Mesh for Familiar Perimeter Work
3D Welded Mesh Fence is perimeter defining while keeping visibility open. The V-bend of 3D fence clearly distinguishes its profile from other fence types and gives extra strength to the panel. This type of product is worth a mention to factory, school and commercial boundary customers. Flat 2D Welded Mesh panels offer an alternative appearance and method of construction to the 3D profile of straight panels.

When looking for a stock range, it is also useful to find out which panel heights, mesh openings, wire sizes, post types and colors would be of interest to your customer base. The sensible answer depends on local applications and the quantities you can order for re-stocking purposes. In addition, it is wise to check in advance whether a particular sample is available for comparison with other products. You can then contact the team in advance to check the booth of your contact person.
Chain Link for Coverage Across Varied Sites
Chain link fencing is generally used for long runs, for example round sports pitches, farms and industrial sites. Because chain link fencing is made of woven mesh and also has a supporting structure to it, as a distributor you will have a different set of questions to answer for this product than you would for a rigid panel product, for example wire diameter, mesh opening, roll height, coating and posts and fittings for the particular application.
What combinations do your customers already order and where do they need advice? Basic roll sizes can be held in stock, unusual height or special coatings are generally part of a project inquiry. You need a range of products that you can clearly describe to your customers and that your installers can clearly order from you.
Security and Architectural Options for Specialized Demand
The closely spaced openings of 358 anti-climb fencing make 358 a separate product conversation to standard mesh fencing. Even so, the finished system must be checked against specific site requirements, i.e. height, access points, etc. and against appropriate security standards.
A visible frontage to a property can be provided by steel tubular fencing alternatives to mesh. The picket profile, picket spacing, top of fence, finish and appearance of the gate all provide points for consideration by the potential buyer. Rather than treating these specialized lines as stock items to be promoted in sales literature, assess at the booth meeting which of the available configurations warrant inclusion and quote others on an individual basis.
Make Each Catalog Item Easy to Specify Again
Agree on the Details Behind a Product Name
“Green welded mesh fence” is too broad for a reliable reorder. Two shipments can share that description while differing in panel width, wire diameter, post section, fixing method, or coating color. A distributor needs an approved specification that purchasing, sales, and the end customer can recognize.
Record the dimensions, material, finish, color reference, matching posts and accessories for each candidate range. Clarify how a sample or drawing will be approved and how subsequent orders will be referred back to this approved version. While our customization services allow for market specific deviations, these must be clearly documented before they are mistakenly added to the catalog as a standard option.
Decide What Quality Evidence Matters to Your Customers
Customers are mostly interested in appearance and color consistency. Moreover, some of them require test methods to be stated, inspection records or even certain documents to be submitted as part of a tender. Do not rely on general quality statements, bring these requirements to the fair.
Outline how the agreed dimensions, welds and surface finish are to be inspected and which supporting documents will be issued against the agreed product. If there is industry standard specification or acceptance test used in your market, please share the exact wordings with us. This will enable us to assess the proposed grade on a practical basis and to recognize the distinction between products that look similar but are not interchangeable.
Plan for Repeat Orders and After-Sales Support
The BENDIN factory in Anping is located on approximately 15,000 m² and is equipped with more than 80 machines and around 190 employees. In addition to mesh welding, chain link production and coating, there are also various other machines. As a distributor you want to know if a previously selected range of articles can be produced to the agreed articles and sizes in the repeat order, also in different surface finishes.
Discuss your anticipated order pattern, forecast range, and the information you need before presenting a new line to customers. If a product needs different colors for different territories or projects, ask how those variations should be identified. Confirm the quality checks and communication route for questions after delivery. BENDIN’s international experience is useful here: it serves customers in more than 70 countries, while the exact product and documentation still have to suit your own market.

Share Your Market Requirements Before You Travel
Provide a list of the typical heights, finishes, colors and order quantities that you frequently receive, as well as typical applications for your customers. We will discuss the relevant product families, the approved versions for each of them and the corresponding services at booth 8.0F12 from October 23 to 27, 2026. We look forward to your visit and to working out the answers to all the questions your customers have and that are behind your purchase plan.
